The mission of the Shankhu Charitable Trust is to envision a world where every individual, regardless of their background or circumstances, has the opportunity to thrive and contribute to the betterment of society. Our unwavering commitment is to create lasting positive change by addressing pressing social, economic, and environmental challenges. Through collaborative efforts and sustainable initiatives, we strive to build resilient communities that are empowered with knowledge, skills, and resources Irrespective of age, caste, creed, sex, religion, or background We thrive to do so by providing various education and health camps, providing financial help to needy and sanitation resources. We actively seek partnerships with like-minded organizations, businesses, and individuals to amplify our collective efforts, we encourage and assist doctors, social activists and volunteer organizations in doing their social services. Some of the services that we have provided in preceding years are

Helping students and their parents through book donations: We are committed to sourcing, collecting, and distributing a diverse range of books, both new and gently used, to individuals and organizations with limited access to reading materials. Our goal is to provide the joy of reading and the opportunity for lifelong learning to people of all ages and backgrounds.

Blanket drive: We organize blanket drives for the poor and needy to help during winters we actively engage with local communities, shelters, schools, and social service organizations to identify individuals and groups in need of blankets. Our outreach efforts enable us to reach those who may otherwise go unnoticed, ensuring that no one is left without the basic comfort of a warm blanket.

Free Legal Aid: We provide free legal advice for NRI's on land and property disputes from some eminent lawyers in India.

Blood Donation camps: We are committed to organizing and facilitating regular blood donation camps to maintain a consistent and readily available supply of blood and blood products.

Plastics reuse: Organizing no-use or reuse plastic awareness camps within school systems such as at Andhra Education society schools to reduce the usage of single use plastics. We engage communities through clean-up events, workshops, and awareness campaigns, fostering a sense of responsibility and collective action. By building a network of environmentally conscious individuals, we create a ripple effect that extends the impact of our mission.

Medical awareness camps: We are dedicated to organizing comprehensive and accessible medical awareness camps that promote preventive care, early detection, and education, ultimately leading to healthier and happier lives. We do so by educating people about various neurological problems like Alzheimer's, Parkinson's Disease and early detections of Cancer, signs and symptoms of diabetes and Blood pressure etc. We collaborate with healthcare providers, medical organizations, nonprofits, and volunteers to enhance the reach and impact of our medical awareness initiatives. By working together, we create a comprehensive support network for health education and advocacy.

Our focus extends to improving health outcomes and promoting well-being, with a particular emphasis on underserved populations. We aim to enhance access to healthcare, promote preventive measures, and support mental and physical wellness.

Through our holistic and empathetic approach, we are dedicated to realizing this vision and shaping a world where compassion, resilience, and collaboration lead to a brighter and more equitable future for all.

The Shankhu Charitable Trust is a non-governmental organization registered on 16th April 2007 with the Registrar of Trusts. The Trust has two trustees Mr. C.B.S. Reddy, and Mrs. C. A. Manga. The Trust has also taken an Exemption of Donations from Income Tax in 2007 and in 2019 for life under section 80G and 12AA of the Income Tax Act.
